Keith Urban lives in the United States. His wife was BORN in the United States (Hawaii) & lived here during her early childhood before her family returned to Australia. All the caption indicates is that a person living in the United States (which is, by the way, where this website operates) was out of the country on a national holiday known as Thanksgiving. It in no way assumes that the United States is the center of the universe. I find it terrible how judgemental people can be! Just because you are from Australia does not mean you have kangaroos in your backyard and drink beer like it's water, does it? Putting an entire society of people into one small box is not only wrong, but it is also demonstrates ignorance. Come see the people in the rest of the United States (aka... not LA or NYC). If you still believe we are all conceited fools you can stay away! You can also avoid our websites, television, film, music, and all other forms of American media.

um... confused... it says "Thursday" on the photo caption, not "Thanksgiving." And even if it was edited by US after that comment, lili, it doesn't mean that the United States believes it is the center of the universe. It simply means someone on the US Weekly staff made an error and fixed it. People are so quick to judge on here! I'm not going to assume that just because you're Australian you have kangaroos in your backyard and drink beer like it's water... Putting an entire society of people into one little box based on the actions (or in this case, typing error) of a few is not only wrong, it's a display of ignorance. Before you judge, why don't you come and see what the REAL United States is about (outside of LA & NYC). Then, if you still don't like our country, you are welcome to stay in your own and avoid further viewing of American websites, television, film, and other forms of media.
