Kate Chastain

Kate Chastain was born in Melbourne Beach, Florida, in January 1986 and is best known for her time on Below Deck.

The Florida native began her career in the yacht industry in 2007, when she became a stewardess during her college gap year. After falling in love with the profession, she worked her way up to the chief stewardess role.

In 2014, Chastain’s passion for yachting led her to Bravo. Throughout her time on Below Deck, she planned lavish parties for the various guests who boarded the luxury boats. In 2020, she departed the show after six seasons.

Despite her departure from the reality series, Chastain remains in the Bravo family as one of the cohosts for Bravo’s Chat Room. She also appears on the Below Deck Galley Talk. In January 2023, the TV personality competed on the first season of the Peacock series The Traitors.

Chastain previously dated fellow Below Deck alums Ben Robinson and Ro Hernandez. In December 2022, the reality star revealed she was expecting her first child. Chastain, who welcomed son Sullivan in May 2023, has not revealed the identity of her child’s father.
