Fueling a feud? Travis Barker and Scott Disick have been relatively tight-lipped about their feelings toward one another — but what they've divulged has spoken volumes. Disick dated Kourtney Kardashian on and off for nearly a decade before the duo called it quits in 2015. The former couple welcomed sons Mason and Reign in December 2009 and December 2014, respectively, along with daughter Penelope in July 2012. Despite their ups and downs, the reality stars have made an effort to remain friendly for the sake of their little ones. "The truth is, my problems shouldn't affect the kids," Disick exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2019. "Just because their mother and I couldn't make it as a perfect, romantic couple shouldn't have anything to do with the kids. They don't deserve our mistakes, so we figured out a way. We still need to be as honest and as good to each other as if we were together. Let's raise these children together and that's it." Disick chimed in at the time, "The biggest challenge was just trying to figure out how we separate our relationship as friends and parents and still be on the same page." Though they initially seemed successful in making that separation clear, the duo's dynamic took a turn when Kardashian moved on with Barker. Us confirmed in January 2021 that the Poosh founder sparked a romance with the Blink-182 drummer, and he proposed that October. "He knew it was possible, but is very jealous of Kourtney and Travis' relationship," the source exclusively told Us of the Flip It Like Disick alum following the engagement. "Scott still thinks that they could call things off before the wedding." Tension continued to grow between the men in August 2021 after Disick sent a DM to Kardashian's ex Younes Bendjima dissing the former E! personality's PDA with Barker. During an April 2022 episode of Hulu's The Kardashians, the lifestyle guru told Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian how she reacted to Disick's message. "I wrote him, 'This is despicable,'" Kourtney said, noting that her former flame apologized via text. "Your actions need to match up with you wanting to be a part of this and act like it. I was in Italy and he was DMing Younes. Then I was like, 'That's not really the vibe. Don't go DMing my ex-boyfriend.'" Kourtney and the Box Car Racer founder held a small, unofficial wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in April 2022 — but a source previously told Us Disick may "want to stay far away" from the main event. "It would definitely be awkward if Scott was at the wedding," the insider revealed in March 2022. "If it's filmed for sure, then he might there." The 'Like'

Before Us broke the news that Disick and Amelia Gray Hamlin called it quits, Barker seemingly shared his disapproval of the relationship. "It's so odd to me. Like, what does a 2001 baby have to do [with] these grown ass people? I know that dinner was awkward as hell," one Twitter user wrote in May 2021 after the exes were photographed at dinner with Kourtney. Barker was caught "liking" the post.

The DM Heard 'Round the World

Disick made it clear that he wasn't pleased with how frequently Kourtney and Barker packed on the PDA in public. In August 2021, Bendjima put the New York native on blast by sharing a screenshot of a DM Disick sent him, which read, "Yo is this chick ok!????? Brooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy."

During an episode of Hulu's The Kardashians, which debuted in April 2022, Kourtney told her sisters she thought Disick's behavior was "despicable."

The Reaction

Amid the DM drama, the musician seemingly brushed off Disick's diss. In August 2021, he shared a photo of Ray Liotta laughing in the 1990 movie Goodfellas via social media, which some fans believed was a subtle response to Disick's message.

Keeping Cordial

Barker, Disick and Pete Davidson were spotted at Reign's baseball game in March 2022, seemingly proving that the men were on decent terms. While the Grammy nominee has remained relatively quiet about where he stands with Disick, a source told Us at the time that he wants to be "cordial" with Kourtney's ex. "He doesn’t go around trash-talking [Scott] and would never be caught publicly dissing him because of Travis’ relationship with the kids," the insider noted.

Seeing Kourtney Move On

The Talentless cofounder reflected on his time away from the reality TV world during the first episode of The Kardashians. "This is probably the first time in fifteen years that we have had a really long break from having cameras follow our every move. And I think it got a little lonely," he said in an April 2022 confessional. "Honestly I think for the first time in my life it is finally starting to change. Now that Kourtney has her life with Travis, as hard as it is, it does give me a place to finally be able to move on."

Scott Lost His 'Best Friend'

"It was a huge adjustment losing Kourtney romantically," Disick said during an April 2022 episode of The Kardashians, referring to the California native's relationship with Barker. "But now it's becoming a huge adjustment losing her as a best friend. Now we're really just more coparenters. I'd say it's probably one of the more difficult things in my life."

Watching From the Sidelines

While speaking to Khloé about not being invited to a family barbecue — which was attended by the Meet the Barkers alum — Disick confessed, "Feeling left out and not being told anything is super hurtful — especially when I don’t have another family to go to. I'd rather be around [Kourtney and Travis] and be around my family than not at all."
