Born in England in 1956, Kim Cattrall is best known for her performance as sex-obsessed Samantha Jones on Sex and the City. She embarked on her career appearing in television shows including The Incredible Hulk.

A theatrical actress appearing on the Broadway stage, Cattral has also made a splash on the silver screen in films like Police Academy. However, none of these roles were as prominent as her career-changing performance on the gal-pal centered HBO show.

In 2004, Cattrall ended her third marriage when she divorced audio designer Mark Levinson. She had previously been married to Larry Davis, before getting an annulment in 1979, and Andre Lyson, whom she divorced in 1989. Cattrall dated Canadian chef Alan Wyse -- 20 years her junior -- for nearly four years until their romance ended in July 2009.
