Born in 1964 and discovered by talent scouts roaming the halls of his New York high school, Matt Dillon broke into acting as a young teen.
Attaining status as a heartthrob, he began his career in a series of teen flicks, including Over the Edge and Little Darlings.
He received critical acclaim for his Oscar nominated performance in Crash and proved he could also make the crowds laugh in There's Something About Mary.
