True Blood's Sam Trammell Welcomes Twin Boys!

True Blood star Sam Trammell is the proud father of twin boys!

The 40-year-old actor and his partner of eight years, Missy Yager, welcomed two sons on Tuesday, his rep tells Us Weekly.

These are the first children for the couple, who met while doing theatre in New York City. Trammell, who currently plays shape-shifter Sam Merlotte on the HBO vampire drama, spoke to Us in April about becoming a first-time father.

"It's very nerve-racking, but we're excited," Trammell said. "I'm most excited about just the lifestyle change, believe it or not, even though it's going to take away all our freedom."
