Charlie Sheen will be sentenced to 30 days in jail for fighting with wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day, a source tells UsMagazine.com.
The Two and a Half Men star, 44, will plead no-contest/guilty to a misdemeanor at his June 7 hearing. He will report immediately to Aspen's Pitkin County Jail.

According to the insider, Sheen decided to take the plea deal to avoid being sentenced to probation.
"Sheen and his people are worried that if he were to get into more trouble that he'd almost surely go to prison," the source said. "By taking responsibility for what he did in Aspen, and agreeing to a no-probation resolution, he'll be able to sleep a little easier. Compared to prison, the jail in Aspen is a far more attractive option."

Sheen’s rep had no comment.
Us reported exclusively earlier this month that Sheen's attorney, Richard Cummins, unsuccessfully asked jail officials to lift its smoking ban for the actor.
"No special exceptions will be made for him," an official said.
