Eva Mendes' new ad for is too hot for TV!
The commercial -- featuring a nude Mendes, 34, rolling around on an unmade bed -- can only air on networks after 9 p.m. It was originally banned in the U.S. altogether, before a cleaner, edited version was created.
The ad's creative director, Fabien Baron, tells WWD that Mendes is being "a little sexy," but insists the ads "are not provocative."
"They are really well done. The spot is really beautiful -- I really can't believe this is happening."
Baron blamed President Bush for the censorship.
"This country really needs a new president -- this country is so messed up," he said. "It's such a joke, and it's quite upsetting, frankly, how hypocritical this country has become. It's OK for children to see people killed by guns? Spreading a little love right now would be a good idea."
