She did it again: Almost a year after her unforgettable hair change-up, Kate Gosselin has transformed her locks once more.
Looking super on-trend, the reality mom, 35, stepped out in NYC on Wednesday with an angular, shag-style cut, courtesy of celeb stylist Ted Gibson (who's worked with Angelina Jolie and other stars) and colorist Jason Backe. (The tanning-salon devotee also sported a particular orange, non-seasonal skin tone.)

Gibson tells UsMagazine.com that he gave Gosselin "soft, sexy layers. Her hair has grown out from that very short haircut."

Gibson famously gave Gosselin her first major hair makeover last January -- adding extensions in a process that reportedly took 20 hours and would have cost $7,000 (hers was comped).
Adds Gibson: "We have been doing extensions until it [got] to the right length for her. She loves her new look, and it's so much fun to work with her!" Gibson declined to tell Us how much the job cost.

29i would really like to know how she has all this free time?!?!? i have two kids and don't have the luxury of pampering myself all the time. AND if my kids were having ANY behavioral problems, i would have even LESS 'me' time because i'd be on them 24/7...
Gosselin is glum, grouchy, grotesque. She showed her true colors on 'Sarah Palin's Alaska'.
I just dont find her or those kids entertaining. Sure I watched the show a couple years ago & thought it was cute, until her claws came out. I just dont watch anymore. hopefully one day she can land a real job, but i guess TLC is her only route for now. And whats up w/Jon Boy, does he even have a job? this hairstyle suits her, the orange glow does not
I think shes starting to look like Anna Nicole Smith. I agree that she should spend more time with the kids and less time out doing the celebrity thing.
@Julie Cowart get your head out of the clouds and smell the coffee. Kate hardly spends time with her kids, she spends more time with her hairdresser and bodyguard etc...
How does she get all this money? Isnt she a mother with like 8 kids? shouldnt she be doing something more productive like, raising her kids and being a good mom and not being another washed up reality television star? Kate! Spend the Money on your kids not your hair and your looks, You look Fine. Worry about your kids' behavioral problems not what haircut and tan your going to have next.
ok tell me again why America refers to her as a star or a celebrity? Its just isnt coveted the way it once was to be referred to as such a high status public figure
She was much prettier when she was just a plain old Mom who wore casual clothes and was not out tanning and walking around in heels everyday. She is so VAIN now!
Everyone saying she doesnt spend enough time with her kids don't have a clue how much time she does or does not spend with them. Just because she is in the spotlight doesnt mean she abuses or neglects them. And so so tiring hearing people say oh you are jealous when people dislike a person.. NO, her tan is orange. I am not jealous of that. She is a very pretty woman, went from a nobody to a star (like kardashians on NO talent) There is nothing wrong with it. I do think she seems really unhappy looks older then her age. I just see a sad, fogotten women in a few years and that is really sad

I love her new hair, and I don't think she is too tan. I'm probably going to go and get that exact hair cut. It looks totally cute. I don't really care about her personal life. She doesn't seem to be abusing her kids, and she looks great! You go Kate :)
I am so over this woman! For someone who gained "celebrity" for a show based on her family of 8 children, she certainly loves the spotlight. She turned me off of the show with the way she treated her husband like an idiot long before the cheating...I certainly don't condone cheating, but she was no angel!! I hope eventually she will fade into the PA burbs and we'll hear about the kids going off to college, etc...THEY were why I watched the show!!

Oh you are WAY off Mayer..WAY off. Kate is only with those kids when she's being filmed. Come here to Reading and watch for yourself. There are PLENTY of hair salons here in town. She did NOT need to travel to NY for this fiasco. And let's not forget...she just a 'single mom with 8 kids to support'...Enough of the pity party, Kate. You've got a TON of $ stashed in numerous banks account. The pity act is old. You have the money to spend on a $950 haircut and that is FINE...so STOP pretending you're broke. So sad how you people buy her lies. SO many lies, lies, lies. Her brother hasn't seen her kids in 2+ years...YES HE has! Saw them in April 2010. She and Jon were very happy when they had their 2nd wedding...she later admitted they were already separated! 3 weeks ago she admitted 2 kids were expelled. The following week she requested privacy in dealing with it. The next week, she's all over the 'TODAY' show COMPLETELY changing her story. Find a new role model people.

They did a better job on Kates hair then Jolies. Kate is with her kids far more then Jolie also. Some are just plain jealous of Kate.
If this was comped by TLC, it's proof that they hate her. She looks like she bought a cheap wig.
