Sharon Osbourne Apologizes for Calling Susan Boyle "Ugly"

Sharon Osbourne has apologized for saying that Britain's Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle was hit by "the ugly stick."
Last month, Osbourne, 57, appeared on Sirius XM Radio's The Opie & Anthony Show and was asked about Boyle. She cracked, "You just want to say God bless and here's a Gillette razor."

But on her Twitter page this week, Osbourne changed her tune.

"Susan Boyle is a lovely gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her," she wrote. "I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologize for getting a cheap laugh at her expense."

I had alot of respect for Sharon up until I heard a few rude comments coming from her. She said something mean about Paul Pots too the star of the British version of The Americas Got Talent. What I really can't believe with all the weight issues and image issues that Sharon has had that she has the nerve to say things like this! She is a phony and I have no respect for her! GO BACK TO ENGLAND !
This just makes me so angry. I can't beilive that Sharon would say something like that. Jabbing someones looks is low. I feel so bad for Susan, Ibet she is a lovely lady, and I bet that she has more class then to snub someone that way.

"Us" is no different than Sharon Osbourne. They do not have to say disgusting things about Susan Boyle like Sharon Osbourne did. They are being disgusting by chosing this photo of Susan Boyle when there are many more flattering ones out there to chose from. By not posting Sharon Osbourne's less flattering photos before ALL of the plastic surgeries you are making a statment without saying a word

It is a big deal. This was not just a joke, it was a sick and nasty attack on Susan Boyle's appearance. Have you noticed that men are not dissected like this? Opie and Anthony should also be pilloried and a punishment of some sort put on them - as occurred with Jonathon Ross. It is just not acceptable to laugh at people in this hurtful and disrespectful way. But, I have to say that having seen the Osbournes at Home on two occasions, I am not surprised by Sharon's behaviour. They behaved in a most disgusting and ignorant way at home. What else can you expect if that is the mire she comes from.
Sharon Osburne you're no great beauty. You should be carefull talking about "ugly sticks".Your husband looks deranged, your children the two that I have seen are short, fat and have no sense of style or fashion.They look like they have been beat regularly with a ugly stick,and they look like they get up in the morning and take ugly pills. So back up off of Susan Boyle at least she can sing, can Ozzie? Once her finances improve maybe she will avail herself of some of spa's and whatever other treatments you have had done. Meanwhile leave the woman alone.

Let me explain to you why: Sharon is sixty years old and that means she is too old to be making these types of (mistakes) I saw her interview, she was laughing about Susan, making fun of her. Much like you would expect a fifteen year old to behave... She has no room to make these harsh comments against such a talented woman. Bottom line... she is old and should know better. Her apology is a lie... she simply does not want for her comments to affect her daughter getting votes on dancing with the stars. The damage though is done....

Well if you saw Sharon at Dancing with the Stars, you would see she has gained a bunch of weight. So really not much room there to talk!
