i'm a parent and that kid is way too old to be sucking on a pacifier. and everyone that says no one should praise brit is right: she had kids to prove how grown up she was and then when she messed up she jumped on the crazy bandwagon as a scapegoat for ditc hing out on her kids. not to mention she's dumber than a bag of hammers. have you ever heard her talk when she doesn't think anyone is paying attention? she makes jessica simpson look like steven hawking. and US, fix your filters, idiots. i wrote ditc hing and was told that "ch in" is profanity. what is the matter with you people?

Because Mommy shoves the pacifier in the kid's mouth to keep him quiet, to keep him distracted, to keep him busy..if Mommy was raising her kids she'd be having enough interaction with them they wouldn't need the pacifier. Now for those of you who say the kids are scared of the paparazzi and it calms them - simple answer - don't go out with an entourage and fly under the radar. Don't court the media and your kids won't be their photo subjects. Sorry but pacifiers for kids this age are because Mommy doesn't want to bother.

I don't understand why the pacifier makes her lazy.. My sister is probably the polar opposite of lazy and her kid (2) still has a pacifier when he goes to bed because it comforts him. I don't think it's crazy of me to say that this kid probably needs a little more comfort than most kids.

hi better things to do - sorry, don't need your skewed input to re-direct my perspective on this photo. The kid shouldn't have a pacifier, and no - I won't be tossing praise to Britney for doing something she should have been doing all along?!? Talk about immature gossip? She had a mental breakdown? How about the life she and her parents created for her got out of control because of poor choices and just plain greed..her greed, mom and dad's greed, kevin's greed, the public's greed...for crying out loud - she made stupid stupid choices and that's what she needs to be getting praise, for taking responsibility for her stupid choices and turning her life around - now the big choice will be - do I try and get my kids back full time knowing full well I have enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my life or do I need the ego boost and rush the fame gives me?
Just curious are any of you mothers that are even commenting on the pacifier. Seriously this picture is not about the pacifier, it is about a mother spending time with her children.
