The minor female victim, who Us has chosen not to identify, reported an aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy and was taken to the hospital. The alleged victim underwent a test and the results found no evidence of male DNA in her mouth or vagina, according to a police report obtained by Us.

KJ was arrested in Alpharetta, Georgia, on August 17, 2026, according to court records obtained by Us, and he was remanded to the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center in Atlanta until a bond hearing. Us confirmed on September 11, 2026, that a judge granted KJ bail set at $200,00o. He was ordered to remain at his mother’s house and wear an electronic ankle monitoring device until his arraignment in October.

What Has Kim Zolciak Said About KJ Biermann Jr.’s Arrest?

Zolciak spoke out about the arrest in a statement to Us on August 21, 2026.

“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” Zolciak said. “My son voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed. What Has KJ Biermann Jr.’s Attorney Said About the Arrest?

Jason Sheffield, the attorney representing KJ, defended his client in a statement to Us.

“First and foremost, this is not the kind of information that should be for public dissemination. These are juveniles,” KJ’s attorney told Us in a statement in August 2026. “Secondly, my client is 100 percent innocent and tried to present evidence to the arresting officer, including a passed polygraph by a notable and respected sex offender polygrapher.”

Sheffield continued, “Additionally, the officer’s report notes the GBI [Georgia Bureau of Investigation] found no male DNA on or inside the areas the alleged victim claimed she was assaulted. Had the officer sat down with me, I feel certain she would’ve never made an arrest.”

Sheffield alleged that “these false allegations are a desperate cry for attention and are motivated by my client’s past rejection of the alleged victim’s unwanted advances.”

“The fact that he’s been arrested and is being held without bond is a tragedy. He is not only presumed innocent but is, in fact, innocent,” Sheffield told Us. “I will work tirelessly to demonstrate to the District Attorney’s office the mean-spirited nature of these false allegations and to bring a close to this matter as quickly as possible. I’m asking the public not to presume the truth of these allegations and to give the families on both sides their space and privacy.”

KJ Biermann Is Indicted on 7 Counts

“It is difficult to comprehend that a 14- or 15-year-old child can be held in detention for a month or longer simply waiting for a bond hearing,” lawyer Jason Sheffield told Page Six in a statement. “But that detention is a direct consequence of the detective’s decision to arrest him on charges of this magnitude.”

During KJ’s bond hearing in September 2026, prosecutors allegedly claimed that investigators found evidence of KJ engaging in sexual activity with an unidentified family member under the age of 12.

According to Page Six, the investigators reportedly discovered recordings of “multiple encounters” where KJ used “predatory [and] derogatory” language toward the victim. The incident had not been previously reported, with prosecutors planning to press charges.

Sheffield argued that KJ’s aggravated child molestation charge “fails to identify the physical injury allegedly resulting from the charged conduct” and requested that the state “identify the alleged physical injury with sufficient particularity to permit intelligent preparation of his defense.”

Arguing against the aggravated sexual battery charge, Sheffield claimed that it “alleges penetration by the accused’s fingers but fails to identify the occurrence with sufficient particularity to distinguish it from the conduct charged elsewhere in the indictment.”

Sheffield also challenged the aggravated sodomy charge, arguing that it “fails to identify the conduct by which force was allegedly accomplished.”

As for the three charges of sexual battery against a child under 16, Sheffield argued that two of the counts are ”facially indistinguishable” because “both allege the same offense,” while the third count “identifies a different anatomical area” from the other two but “does not otherwise identify whether the alleged contact constitutes a discrete criminal occurrence or part of the conduct charged elsewhere.”

Lastly, Sheffield fought the false imprisonment charge, arguing that it “alleges that the accused unlawfully detained the complainant without legal authority but identifies no conduct by which the alleged detention occurred.”

Sheffield requested a hearing to discuss the complaints outlined in the demurrer and asked that the lead detective in the case testify to answer questions about “the facts and circumstances surrounding the indictment.”

Sheffield also challenged the aggravated sodomy charge, arguing that it “fails to identify the conduct by which force was allegedly accomplished.” KJ requested “clarification of the allegation that his sex organ was placed ‘into and upon’ the complainant’s mouth, to the extent those terms describe alternative factual acts rather than a single charged occurrence.”

KJ was also charged with three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16. Sheffield argued that two of these counts are ”facially indistinguishable” because “both allege the same offense, involving the same complainant, the same anatomical area, the same date and identical statutory language.” He requested that the state “identify the separate and distinct criminal act underlying each count or otherwise remedy the facial duplication.”

Sheffield continued, “Count 5 alleges contact with the complainant’s buttocks on the same date and at the same general location as the remaining offenses. Although it identifies a different anatomical area from Counts 4 and 6, it does not otherwise identify whether the alleged contact constitutes a discrete criminal occurrence or part of the conduct charged elsewhere.”

“There was this old mental hospital that had a couple empty wings, and that’s where the offices are, the Hobbs’ home, the mailroom; almost all the interiors of the movie are in a mental hospital that was still functioning a little bit. There was still a wing of the hospital that had patients in it,” the comedian, 60, exclusively told Us while promoting his new book, Elf Unwrapped: Behind the Scenes of a Modern Christmas Classic.

Richter notably played the character Morris in the film, and helped cowrite the new behind-the-scenes book. According to the actor and author, a “big vampire movie” was in the making, so studio space and filming locations were limited, which is why they shot scenes at Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam, British Columbia, near Vancouver.

“I wasn’t wandering around. … I went to the set. I went to the trailer. I got in the van. I went back to the hotel,” he said.

Richter did, however, speculate about what patients thought of Will Ferrell roaming the facility in his Buddy the Elf costume while shooting.

“Will was all over that place for a month or two, like what people were thinking? Patients were looking out the window and seeing this guy in February wandering around in an elf costume, and maybe recognizing, ‘Hey, isn’t that Will Ferrell?’” he joked.

According to the autopsy report obtained by Us on Tuesday, November 3, Zardoya’s cause of death was listed as “craniocerebral trauma,” including skull fractures.

The manner of death is listed as “accident (fall from height and injured self).”

According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, craniocerebral trauma, or traumatic brain injury (TBI), is damage to the brain caused by an external force, commonly categorized into penetrating and non-penetrating injuries. It results from events like falls, crashes or blows to the head.

Toxicology test results determined that Zardoya was positive for ketamine and norketamine, which is a substance produced when the body breaks down the drug.

Her toxicology results also showed alcohol and etomidate, a medication used for sedation.

An examination from the Sarasota, Florida, medical examiner’s office confirmed Zardoya was an organ donor and was able to donate both of her lungs, heart, liver, both kidneys and more after her death.

Zardoya died on July 24 at the age of 20 from injuries sustained in a fall while exploring the ruins of Fort Dade from the Spanish-American War during a trip to Egmont Key, an island off the coast of Tampa Bay, Florida.

November began with country singers Nika and Natalie Taylor announcing the death of their sister, Nicole Taylor.

Nicole’s triplet sisters, Nika and Natalie Taylor, announced her death in a video shared via TikTok and Instagram on Monday, November 2.

“We’re heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister Nicole Taylor,” Nika said. “We honestly thought she’d be healed here on Earth, but now she’s healed in heaven.”

The sisters revealed that Nicole was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer in 2022.

“It was an aggressive type. In her words, when she first found out, was, ‘God’s gonna use this for his glory,’” Natalie said.

“And if the treatments worked, they didn’t know how long after that,” Nika explained, while Natalie recalled their sister telling the doctor, “Everybody’s going to face judgment, and I’m ready to.”

The sisters then shared a clip of Nicole in her 20s discussing her faith, which she said helped her through her cancer battle.

Nika concluded, “He was with us and Nicole before her passing. She said she had so much peace, and we’re really thankful for that. We are still shocked and didn’t think this would happen, but we know she’s not suffering anymore, and we have God’s promise of ultimate healing.”

In a YouTube video on Monday, Nika and Natalie got emotional as they shared that Nicole’s diagnosis came as a “big shock.”

“We’re still processing everything,” Natalie said. “This, honestly, feels really hard to talk about, but we’re going to do our best to share her story.”

Malibu declared an emergency that month, sharing in a proclamation that the sinkhole “poses imminent danger to the homes and residents” on the street.

“I thought Eric would still be here with us right now. We never, ever anticipated that we would lose him in February,” Gayheart, 55, said on the Tuesday, November 3, episode of the Today show during a sit-down interview with journalist Maria Shriver.

Gayheart recalled the moment she learned Dane was diagnosed with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease, back in 2024. “The first thing I thought about was just my daughters losing their father and how hard that was going to be on them,” she said, “and then I just thought, ‘OK, what do we have to do?'”

She also reflected on her decision to stand by the actor’s side throughout his illness despite the fact that they were no longer together. (The duo, who shared daughters Billie, 16, and Georgia, 14, tied the knot in 2004 before Gayheart filed for divorce in 2018. Their split was never finalized.)

“We don’t shoot the s***. We’re safe,” he continued. “We do heroin in someone’s apartment. We’re not desperate junkies, living under a bridge. We are responsible. We are so careful.”

Eventually, however, Dane found himself becoming “proficient” in shooting up. By 1997, Dane had weaned himself off heroin and turned to painkillers.

“I discovered them after a sinus surgery,” he recalled. “The prescription the doctor wrote called for six pills a day, with a maximum of 12. I took 40.”

Dane sought out Percocet, which he claimed “mimics the high you get from heroin without the accompanying stabbing.” At one point, he got so “desperate” for pills that he went to the emergency room and began rifling through drawers while the doctor was out of the room. He put a handful of syringes in his pocket.

When the doctor returned, he suggested Dane stay for a seven-day detox. Dane declined and bolted, finding his friends in the waiting room. Back at home, Dane’s friends caught him with the last of his heroin stash and the stolen syringes, and he finally agreed to get help.

The friends help Dane get checked into the ER once again, where he attempted to escape shortly after he began detoxing. He was then brought to a mental health building next to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Following her arrest, the former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader had her mugshot taken. In the photo, Rycroft was wearing a black shirt with a skull and cross bone wearing a football helmet logo on the left side and had her hair down.

Rycroft’s latest run-in with the law comes two months after she pleaded guilty in August to her prior DWI in a deal that helped her avoid jail time.

The mother of three was arrested in September 2025 for a DWI. At the time, Rycroft’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level was reported as .26 percent, which is three times the legal limit in her home state of Texas.

Us reported on August 12 that Rycroft signed a plea deal earlier that week, agreeing to 20 months of probation instead of 280 days in jail. She was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and complete 36 hours of community service within 120 days.

Rycroft was ordered to finish a DWI education program and a judge ruled that she was not allowed to drive without a “camera equipped ignition interlock device.”

The former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders advisor also agreed to be screened for substance abuse, which included paying for “non-dilute urine samples for testing for controlled substances and cannabis as directed by the court.”

Rycroft must also abstain from “illegal use, possession, or sale of controlled substances, marijuana or cannabinoids,” and agreed not to “consume or possess any alcoholic beverages.”

Her plea deal noted that Rycroft has to check in with Texas’ Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD) on a monthly basis, and allow a supervision officer to visit her home or any other location “at any time,” as well as provide proof of employment.
