Jessica Mulroney

Jessica Mulroney is a Canadian fashion stylist. She grew up in Quebec, Canada, before graduating from McGill University. The Project Shoebox founder married Ben Mulroney in 2008 and they later welcomed three children: twin boys Brian and John, and daughter Isabel.

The Female Empowerment Project founder was thrust into the spotlight in the mid-2000s for her friendship with Meghan Markle. The women became close while Markle was working on Suits in Toronto, beginning in 2011, with Jessica eventually choosing her TV character’s wedding dress.

The fashion expert was one of the special guests invited to celebrate Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018. Jessica’s sons were even two of the page boys during the U.K. ceremony.

Jessica made headlines in June 2020 when influencer Sasha Exeter called her out for allegedly using her “white privilege” in the fashion industry. The controversy resulted in the stylist losing her position as a contributor at Good Morning America. When the fashion guru apologized for her actions, she mentioned her friendship with Markle and the duchess’ struggles with race, which put a strain on the friends’ relationship.
