Nastia Liukin

Nastia Liukin was born on October 30, 1989, in Moscow, Russia, to double-gold medalist Valeri Liukin and World clubs rhythmic gymnastics champion Anna Kotchneva. Nastia and her family moved to Parker, Texas, when she was two years old following the breakup of the Soviet Union. She began gymnastics at the age of three and gained international fame at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she won five medals, including gold in the all-around competition. Beyond her Olympic career, she has nine World Championship medals and is the founder of the Nastia Liukin Cup, which highlights young gymnasts aspiring to follow in her footsteps.

Aside from gymnastics, Nastia has also had cameo roles in shows such as Gossip Girl and Hellcats. In 2015, she competed with Derek Hough in season 20 of Dancing With the Stars; the duo were eliminated in week 9. Nastia later returned to DWTS during season 27 to be a trio partner to Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber. In 2023, Nastia appeared alongside other celebrities on the reality series Special Forces.

As for Nastia’s relationship history, she got engaged to former professional hockey player Matt Lombardi in 2015 after several years of dating. The pair ended their engagement in 2018. Following their split, Nastia was linked to NFL player Sam Martin from 2019 to 2020 before going Instagram official with Ben Weyand in 2022.
