Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert previously hosted Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report from 2005 to 2014 before taking over CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2015, succeeding David Letterman. Before The Colbert Report, he was a contributor on The Daily Show from 1997 to 2005.

The talk show host collaborated with Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello on the 2003 novel Wigfield: The Can Do Town That Just May Not. He also appeared in the 2005 film adaptation of Bewitched and made guest appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Colbert married Evelyn McGee in 1993, and they have three children: Madeleine (born in 1995), Peter (born in 1998) and John (born in 2002).
