David Spade and his girlfriend of five months, Heather Locklear, have ended their relationship, sources tell Us Weekly.
Spade’s rep would neither confirm or deny the breakup, but tells Us, "David and Heather have always been friends and will remain friends."
Though it was Spade’s decision to end the relationship, the couple’s constant fighting over the last several weeks made it obvious to both that it was over.
“They broke up simply because she became more and more of a b-tch as she became more comfortable with him, and was difficult in every way,” says the source, who says that Spade was wary that Locklear was simply rebounding from husband Richie Sambora, from whom she split in February.
“He was really cautious and saw some of the danger signals,” says a source. “She just became so high maintenance, and so not worth it to be with.”
The source adds that Locklear, 44, who has recently been seen on the arm of TV producer Jonathan Prince, may have been dating Spade, 42, for publicity and seeing several other men at the same time. "This whole time she was just playing him.”

If you think Denise has been quiet about all this you have not seen her on tv talking about it, Heather is the one with class, she never speaks about it to the public. Richie traded class for trash.Your friends should "have your back" not stab you in it.

I think she needs to be by herself for awhile. He was just a rebound. It's not healthy to jump into something after being hurt like she was. She needs to do some "soul" searching. It's very healthy and interesting to do that.

Now for my 2 cents...I don't think David and Heather were ever romantically involved, but just friends. Yes, she is and always has been publicity hungry and high maintenance. Look at the last 10 years when she appeared anywhere with Richie. She always made sure SHE was out in front and he was just her "arm candy". He kissed the ground she walked on and she walked all over him. Too bad he was so desperate he hooked up with another publicity whore.
Anonymous 9:49 is claiming that Charlie should pay $100,000 a month for his children. OK, I agree with that, BUT it should be in a trust for the children. Have you noticed that when Denise is photographed she's ALWAYS shopping. At the rate she spends money, there won't be any left for the children. Why do you think she sent Charlie her bills when she followed Richie to Europe? She spent all her money shopping for the trip! I don't think Charlie would balk at any amount if he could be sure it would go to the children.

Charlie will support these children the same way he did Cassandra. He can gamble HIS money away all he wants, he earns it so why not. Why can't Denise get a job? That's what many single mothers do when they get divorced. It is a part of it. Oh wait I forgot she was never considered a talented actress to begin with so she has to resort to giving smut interviews talking about how 'hard' her life is, knowing she does not know what that means. Her accusations against Charlie were baseless because if they had any merit the restraining order would still be in place if nothing else. And if Charlie does not provide for his girls I am sure his family will make sure they are provided for the same as they did with Cassandra. Denise has said too much which is why people loathe her and she keeps changing her story. Richie was even supposedly upset with Denise for trying to make amends with Heather saying things were already too tense between them. Is Denise so immature she can not see how she stabbed Heather in the back? I can see many of the ridiculous people who post here can not see that so you all must be on the same juvenile middle school level as Denise. The funny thing is I am not a fan of any of them but can see through garbage and Denise and Richie are just that, garbage. People talk about David being Heather's rebound guy and if that is the case what is Denise to Richie unless of course they have been seeing each other for some time which is probably the case.

I find it reprehensible that Charlie would throw that out there to make Denise look bad, because at the end of the day that money is for his CHILDREN not her.; does he not have ANY responsibility for these babies? Or is he so determined to ''destroy'' (I'm using his words here) Denise that he would use his DUTY as a father to hurt her?
It's not what she ''needs'', it's what the children are entitled to under terms of the LAW. $100,000 dollars a MONTH is barely a dent in the amount of money he is earning a WEEK. The scum gambles away more than that, yet giving to his children? Nah, lets make Denise look bad by putting that out there, never mind that it's what he SHOULD be giving to the girls. something happened between Denise and Heather. Don't know what for definite, but it was pretty bad and neither is saying. I believe it was completely un-connected to Richie, and Denise is being very gracious in maintaining silence.
I may be wrong here, but I have my opinion of the situation and as far as I can see everything I'm hearing about Heather is matching up with my impression of the situation. It's just far too weird to be a co-incidence.
Watch er jump from man to man. Watch her completely mess up her life. It is already happening, I don't need to read some magazine to see that.

I think Denise's story in Harpers Bazaar is bunch of BS. If she wasn't in the right frame of mind to be dating Richie than she should have not sunk her meat hooks into him. She is the one who made up her mind to get him and get Richie she did.
Denise is the one who hasnt been alone in forever and needs a rich man to support her. She knew she wasn't gonna be with Charlie and saw Richie as the first available guy.
And as far as not doing anything wrong thats bull. Denise told Heather to get a divorce. She gave her girlfriend advice on her marriage . She totally had an ulterior motive.
Richie did not cheat on Heather but Heather also NEVER cheated on Richie. She had no reason to.

Nadine, Richie didn't cheat on Heather....she cheated on him. Now she's cheated on David. She has no morals or scruples at this point, she's jsut hurtling from one disaster to the next and bringing everyone down with her.
Denise ended her friendship with Heather for a REASON. We are starting to see those reasons.
DEnise did nothing wrong IMO. Heather brought it all on herself and has no right to be whinging about something that she has no control over. She just has to get over it, simple as that. She may not like it but it's not her decision.
Denise hasn't lied. Denise is the only one who HASN'T lied from what I can see. Richie is the only one who hasn't thrown ANY mud at anyone from what I can see. As Denise said in Harper's Bazaar, she and Richie were absolutely NOt in the right frame of mind mentally to be entering into a relationship after everything that had happened to them, but it DID happen and they are now supporting eachother. Heather's actions, and what David is CONFIRMING here in this article, is that Heather really is in a complete mess right now. She USED to be classy, she USED to have a career. That has all gone.
May Heather Locklear (as she USED to be) rest in peace. What we are seeing NOW is a scheming, media-obsessed, controlling and difficult nasty piece of work who will trample over anyone as long as it suits her.
Don't worry Richie and Denise, some of us see through it. Just carry on with things as you both are.

I don't like David, but I do feel sorry for him. He shouldn't have gone there but he DID support her and deserved better than what he got, a woman who is quite content to behave like a black widow, preying on men and just jumping in and out of bed with them. There was no press blitz, three interviews that's IT. Hardly a 'blitz'. Seh went on holiday with Richie, again SO WHAT, and did the Pussycat Dolls, again, I repeat SO WHAT. She is having FUN adn after what she's been through she's entitled.
Richie and Denise are a couple and having fun, jsut as David and Heather were. Heather is the one who continues to make a fool of herself falling out of clubs drunk and hainging around with people like Brandon Davis etc etc. She still thnks she's in her 20s.
Denise and Richie are great, they have a lot to deal with and are getting on with it TOGETHER. Hate on them all you want, that's just fine, but HEather's skanky ways are coming to the fore and trust me soon enough you will be changing yourr tune about her.
