Philippa Charlotte Middleton--better known as Pippa-- was born September 6, 1983. She is the younger sister of Kate Middleton, Prince William's betrothed, and daughter of party supply company owners Michael and Carole.
Like Kate, Pippa attended the University of Edinburgh. She studied English literature and shared a house with Lord Edward Innes-Ker, son of the Duke of Roxburghe, and with Earl Percy, heir of the Duke of Northumberland. After graduating in 2008, took a job with Table Talk, a London-based party planning company.
Pippa lives in a London flat with her brother James, a party planner named Ella, and James' black cocker spaniel. She’s an active philanthropist, serving as an ambassador to Too Many Women, which raises money for breast cancer research.
