Claudia Schiffer and her husband, director Matthew Vaughn, have announced that they are expecting their third child.
"We are delighted with the news and can't wait to add to our family," she said in a statement, adding that she is due in May.
The two - who wed in May 2002 - have two children, Caspar, 6, and Clementine, 5.
"I love being pregnant," she has said. "You can do whatever you want. You don't feel guilty, because I used to feel guilty about having a day off.

29I'm glad that I had my kids at 32 and 36 respectively. I'd hate to be some young know-it-all who actually knows nothing..too bad for THOSE kids!
Just wait. When she has this third one she'll find out just how much she has to work to get the weight off. Keep going and find out.
How lame, those quotes are all from her previous pregnancies. And come on, anyone who spots that woman in the streets with her children can clearly see she's not happy with them. Sometimes I think she plainly hates Clementine. By the way, I wonder what stupid name she'll pick next.
preVious* pregnancies, sorry :P

Actually some women really do have metabolisms that high. My mother does, and she wasn't a model or anything. She was a stick when she had my sibling and I, and a stick afterwards- and continues to be able to eat what she wants and be super tiny in her 60s. So it does happen! (Although I'll add most of the time in Hollywood it's BS - all trainers, fad diets and probably surgery!)
the comment at 39 is to draw attention to the article it worked! I think I'd be happy to have 3 kids at any age I had my 3 kids, by 31 I was glad I did but not everyone does so more power to her.
Well, when it comes to becoming mommies, female peak and prime is 18-32 (16-30 if we were cave people or tribes people) but any childbirth is beautiful regardless of the age of the parents. My parents gave birth to a giant family over the course of decades and my father fathered his last child in his early seventies (3 wives and a trillion babies that man had. what a life and all of us get along even!!!). You are never too old to give a brother a new baby sister to coddle, burp and bottle and ultimately father upon yer passing. Sigh...but you know! Babies are beautiful. They are the only reason humans live. People ask "what is the meaning of life"? People with lower IQ's actually have to ponder that question, but the rest of us know its: having babies. Women over 40 can give birth to healthy babies (my mom did) but the hard part for them is GETTING pregnant to begin with. If they succeed, the babies are usually healthy (if they arent austistic). That said, I think females need a grip on reality. Age does matter in a world where beauty fades and fertility dries up. OK? jesus. There has to be a denial gene (and only women get it)
I agree, her age is nothing to make a big deal of. She is young and healthy, looking forward to adding to her family. She probably mentioned more than what she can "eat" in the original interview, but that's all that got quoted here. We have all seen very little of her in the last few years, which tells me she has been home taking care of her family most of the time. Best of luck to them.
They are married (a novelty in Hollywood) and in love, why not have a child? Also why shouldn't she say why she loves being pregnant?. So what if it happens to benefit her, she is also DELIGHTED to be having this baby. She has the best of both worlds, her body responds well to pregnancy and she is getting a wonderful blessing as well. There really isn't anything to pick on in this article and only congratulations are in order!
7:17 PM is the perfect example of women that spit venom and show their extreme jealousy at women who have no weight problems!
wow 42 and 44 you guys were old. poor kids, parents and grandparents all in one bundle, that's cute:)
i think that's so funny that they say "...at 39" like "dun-dun-dun!" ha ha. so dumb.
For those of you "holding your breath" because Claudia is PREGNANT AT 39.I can only tell you that it is NOT the end of the world. I was 42 with my last pregnancy. It turned out to be a "set". Yes indeed TWINS. My mother-in-law, on the other hand was 44 when she delivered her last child in February of 1959 and 45 that May. All three are completely healthy and highly treasured, as all the rest are, by the family that loves them.
How lame! I NEVER lost while breastfeeding. It wasn't until I stopped breastfeeding did the weight come off. I agree with the person below me.
I can't stand this self absorbed woman! She LOVES being pregnant because she can eat something once in a while??? And if she breastfeeds the cracker she ate while pregnant will come right off??? OH SHUT UP!!
Wow, congratulations!
Casper and Clementine...sheesh why do these stars name their children goofy names?
When do you ever see them put ages when announcing a birth? How sexist. Some people don;t have their 1st until their 40's.
I agree with everyone else on here about the age thing. It's a cheap shot...try to stir some controversy in a headline.
