A Malawi court granted the pop star's request to adopt Chifundo "Mercy" James in June 2009. Mercy is the second Malawi tyke to join Madonna's family: David Banda, 5, was formally adopted in 2008. The little ones have two older siblings born to Madonna: Lourdes, 13, and Rocco, 9.
