Rosie O'Donnell has a new woman in her life -- plus six additional kids!
A rep for O'Donnell, 47, confirms to UsMagazine.com that the comedian -- who revealed in November that she and partner Kelli Carpenter had been living apart for two years -- is now dating Tracy Kachtick-Anders.

O'Donnell was photographed on a jet ski in Miami with Kachtick-Anders in November, and the pair were photographed hand-in-hand in Florida on Tuesday. When asked about the photos and her new love, O'Donnell confirms on her AskRo blog, "I am happy."

In an October interview at Examiner.com, the Texas-based Kachtick-Anders is described as an "artist, writer, inventor, doula and lesbian mother of six."
Kachtick-Anders has one biological child and five adopted children.

I have many friends, both men and women, in alternative relationships, and some have children (older and younger), and they are thriving, smart, beautiful, happy children who are more grounded and loved than some I know who come from traditional families. And their parents are better parents than a lot of traditional parents I know.

"Concerned" is correct, it is not hateful talk to point out that certain behaviors are sinful and we are in fact concerned about our fellow human beings and that is why we point it out. But, as I said, read the Bible and ask God if it is true or not and then make up your own mind. I do believe though if you earnestly do so you will find out for yourself by the power of the Holy Spirit and the reading of the Word that it is true.
This is not hateful talk coming from me, just an encouragement to do some deep soul seeking and cry out to GOD,who made us all, and ask what is TRUTH and what is a LIE...If everyone does what is right in their own eyes, who's to say that theft is wrong, abuse is wrong, or murder is wrong...In my culture maybe murder is the way we do things but who's to say that it's wrong? Obama? Me? You? GOD says it's wrong and that settles it...HE is GOD after all and HE knows what HE's doing. Here's the scoop. God made the Universe and it runs within the limits of physical, emotional and spiritual laws...When these laws are broken/violated there are deadly consequences usually. The spiritual laws(10 Commandments and other Biblical principles) are the spiritual laws, that when broken they bring about death. We, the people of this planet, would be wise to abide by the Creator God's laws in order to live in harmony with HIM and with one another while we have breath. I hope everyone who reads this takes it to heart and meditates on it because it's good stuff, not because I said it but because it's Biblical based wisdom shared with all who would receive it. This world is upside down where wrong is right and right is wrong...The homosexual lifestyle as previously mentioned in another blog is against nature, which God Almighty created, and it's against moral laws, which God Almighty created, and it's just a very hard and painful lifestyle that leads to death (physical, emotional and eventually spiritual)...It's bondage...PERIOD. I pitty the ones trapped in this lifestyle the same way I would pitty anyone trapped in any other sinful lifestyle that kills the body, soul and spirit.
Rosie and Kelly may have broken up because they were married. It is known that when couples live together for a while and then get married seems to break up shortly after.

Brave and kind. Or attention seeking and exploitive. Most celebrities try to keep their children out of the spotlight. Whats driving all of the media attention on Rosie and her new gf? Our titillation with gay parents? Something 'octomom-ish'? Or Rosie needing the attention for an upcoming HBO special? I hope these two realize that their kids have no place in the public eye just because Rosie and Tracie have been dating for a month.

I agree, there are a lot of hateful comments on this message board. People should look in the mirror and see the log in their own eye before they point out the speck in someone else's eye. We are all sinners who fall short and we all have our own issues with God, not just these two women. But that being said I will continue to say that the Bible says homosexuality is a sin and also that people can turn away and be set free of this sin by the power of the blood of Jesus Chrits who died on the cross to take away the sins of the world, was buried, and rose again to conquer all of our sins.
Homosexuality is wrong - PERIOD. Even if you don't believe in God (which is quite silly!!how did you land up on earth - a "scientific" bang?!!) the fact that they cannot reproduce proves they were NOT meant to be!!and you can't compare that to straight couples because when a straight couple can't have children its a 'defect' i.e somethings wrong medically. So that can't possibly be a credible comparison!! Gay people really should stop trying to defend their orientation, if you think it's 'right' then just do it and stop making fools of yourselves arguing with the rest of the NORMAL world!!!
I read some of the pathetic and mean comments about this article. How sad that the happiness of two people has to inspire such hatred. Why can't you just keep your nastiness to yourself. How would you feel if you couldn't step out the door without having people photograph you and nose in on your business. Rosie and Tracy are brave and generous to step out into a world full of people like you, and doubly brave to take the initiative to love children and raise them to be open and caring and concerned for others. Clearly, concern for others, respect for others and understanding and tolerance of lifestyle choices were not a part of the upbringing of those individuals who actually took the time to show their nasty insides here.

I was totally apathetic about this whole story until I followed the link to the askro blog in the story. Prominently displayed there is a link to an article Rosie highly recommends about the tragedy of daughters being raised without mothers. Doesn't that make the eleven kids now being raised in Rosie's house without a father an equal tragedy? It seems every few months or so Rosie just can't but prove herself a complete hypocrite, and this is just the last example. She's become the poster child for the liberal elitest do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do bunch.
