Though a number of prescription drugs were found in her bedroom, her husband Simon Monjack -- who has denied that Murphy suffered from prescription drug problems or an eating disorder -- has claimed that she was only taking the painkiller Vicoprofen and Fluoxetine, an antidepressant to treat her menstrual cramps.

8BULLSHIIT-ACCIDENTAL...CALL IT DRUG OVERDOSE!
@yellie It was accidental overdose not intake. She probably wasn't trying to kill herself. Depending on what she was taking sometimes when you mix drugs it has a bad effect and can kill you. She probably just mixed the wrong drugs.
@H-Puff You are exactly right because I had it too right after I had my daughter. I was losing a lot of blood and I was very low on iron. I had to take iron pills as well for about a month. I wish that when some people feel that their body is not acting normal that they go get checked out by a doctor. Sad. Rest In Peace Brittany. You will truly be missed my many.

Accidental!??! Yeah right. She was a druggie, just tell the truth don't blame pneumonia.
Wow! I have heard of pneumonia being fatal in certain cases but never with someone this young. I wonder if she took one type of medication thinking it was another type and that is how she passed. Now that the coroner has filed his report, I hope Brittany's family can now find peace. Rest in Peace Brittany, you will be missed!
It's called iron deficiency anemia... I had it from extreme menstrual bleeding. You have to take iron pills to bring iron levels and ferretin levels back up. You feel exhausted all the time. I can't believe her husband didn't take her to the ER, instead of letting her take his meds. RIP, Brittney
how can it be accidental drug intake? not like she was fixing a car and the antifreeze spilled right into her mouth ...?????
