Actor Gary Coleman is hospitalized and in critical condition, the Associated Press reported Thursday.
The former child star of Diff'rent Strokes, now 42, was admitted to the intensive care unit at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah on Wednesday.
The star's manager told E! News, "We're just getting bits and pieces right now, so there's really nothing to report." Speaking to TMZ, Coleman's brother said he had sustained a head injury after a fall.
As a result of the kidney disease he suffered as a child, Coleman has been plagued with health problems in his adulthood. The AP reports that he has had at least two kidney transplants and has ongoing dialysis; this February, he had a seizure on the set of The Insider. He had heart surgery -- followed by a bout of pneumonia -- last autumn.
Coleman has lived in Utah since 2005; he married wife Shannon Price in 2007.
