LeAnn Rimes Reaches Divorce Settlement

The same day Deane Sheremet filed for divorce from LeAnn Rimes Dec. 17, the two reached a confidential divorce settlement, according to Los Angeles court records.
"The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy," the document states.

The two are likely dividing their cash, property and other valuables.
Their divorce is expected to be finalized June 19, 2010.
Their nearly eight-year marriage ended after Rimes had a relationship with her Lifetime movie costar Eddie Cibrian, who was wed to Brandi Glanville at the time.

Cibrian and Glanville are also divorcing.

Do some of you old crows think that making nasty remarks about LeAnn's looks and how great Deane is make you think you are part of the "in crowd?" What you say will not make LeAnn ugly or Deane innocent of not living up to his part of the marriage; Eddie will not be a dog nor the ex a saintly woman who carries all the burden of parenthood. This is their lives. If LeAnn and Eddie want to be together, I hope they are; if Deane and the ex want to live off their exes, I do not wish them luck. None of your nastiness will change a thing. Look at Rimes pics from the 2009 grammy awards just months ago. Homely is the only word to describe her. She looks better now but homely is homely to the bone and that can't be made over.

Yes, she can sing but she is so unattractive it is hard to look at her while she is doing it. Kudos to her though for looking like that and being able to confidently look at a camera or attempt those meant to be sexy photo shoots. In the Hallmark movie with her and her new man, well, it wasn't even believable that any man would fall for her. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I can't imagine anyone, male or female thinking she is anything other than well, homely.
Quick sttlement my azzzz. Deane has all the low down on her and he was about to spill his guts in public. She paid him hush money just as she did Eddie's other mistress or mistresses. Deane took home at least half because if he didn't, Rimes wouldn't be able to get a gig at a county fair.
A fast settlement could have been due to the fact that they had a pre-nup.

@anon I had to read your post twice because I thought you were commenting about Eddie Cibrian, LeAnn's no pride boy-toy. Eddie has been bought and paid for and Rimes keeps him on a golden leash. Eddie is as low as men get and Rimes wants him. Let's not give her much credit. She picks the man who meets her needs of the day and then wants sympathy when the man gets sick of her nutty ways.
Is it legal to get engaged while you're still married? Rimes wants to do her victory strut with that engagement ring so I'm sure she will do it whether it's legal or not. She's a no class tacky witch.

Yeah, Sheremet has no pride! What a catch he was. I mean this prideless catch had the audacity to marry a woman who cheated on him repeatedly, made an idiot out of him publicly and now AND while she was still married flaunted her affair publicly! Yeah Sheremet is surely a prideless peace of work who deserves nothing from his ex-wife!
If they've agreed on the terms of the divorce why does it take 6 months to end it. End it now. There is to much time for Eddie to start cheating on Rimes or for her to cheat on Eddie. Somethings not right about this story. I'll bet Rimes get her ring in a month but that won't mean much. Neither Rimes, Eddie, or Tiger Woods cares about rings or marriage licenses.

Why Not, so if it had been the other way around and Leann was the one who got cheated on, it would be okay for HER to get spousal support? Wrong. The one who cheats pays, just like I hope Elin Woods gets half of everything Tiger has, You don't wanna pay the price, DON'T get married. Marriage is a business contract, not a statement of love, and Leann violated the contract and should have to pay.
