Wednesday – January 27, 2010 – 10:50am

The actor, 44, was stopped around 2:59 a.m. Wednesday after reportedly driving more than 90 mph on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles.

The site reports that Pasdar was "failing to maintain his lane." When police approached Pasdar's vehicle, they detected the odor of alcohol -- and decided to give him a field sobriety test. He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI a short time later.

Pasdar -- who is wed to Dixie Chick Natalie Maines -- was taken to a nearby jail, where he was booked and placed behind bars. His bail was set at $15,000. (TMZ reports the bail amount was so high because the actor refused to take a breathalyzer.)
