Chace Crawford

BIO

Born July 18, 1985 in Lubbock, Texas, Chace Crawford spent his youth in Plano, Texas and was a football player in high school. After graduation, Crawford headed to Los Angeles to attend Pepperdine University.

Unsure of where he wanted his career to go, Crawford contemplated between business and advertising majors, and remained undecided until his mother encouraged him to pursue acting halfway through sophomore year. The decision proved to be a perfect fit – he quickly landed a role in the Lifetime movie Long Lost Son, as well as the horror flick,The Covenant.

As of 2007, Crawford has a starring role on the hit TV show, Gossip Girl. In 2008, the actor denied rumors of a romantic relationship with platonic pal, JC Chasez, saying the two were just friends. Crawford was set to star the remake of the 1984 film Footloose, but he dropped out shortly after.

In June 2010, Crawford was arrested in Texas for marijuana possession.
