One half of the Olsen twin empire, along with sister Ashley, Mary-Kate Olsen forms the richest symbiotic partnership in tween actor history.

The Olsen twins began their rise to fame and fortune when they landed their starring role-sharing appearance on Full House at only five months old. The two stayed on the show for eight years, building an empire of kids movies, books, music and their own fashion line along the way.

In their teen years, the duo switched over to sex symbols, to the excitement of men's mags everywhere. The Olsen twins remained inseparable in the media eye until Mary-Kate's episode of anorexia, which cast her as the more rebellious of the two twins.

She has been linked to Stavros Niarchos III, David Katzenberg and New York DJ Matt Creed.

Olsen, a fashion icon, launched the brand Elizabeth and James with twin sister Ashley in 2007.

The actress has also kept busy guest-starring on Weeds and filming the 2010 movie Beastly with costar Vanessa Hudgens.
