BIO
Born in Florence Italy, Rose McGowan moved to Seattle, Washington to live with her father until she was 15. Eager to pursue a career in film as a teen, McGowan enrolled in beauty school as a back-up plan.
McGowan's first big TV break came via the now defunct WB's Charmed, where she joined Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs in an ensemble cast for the duration of the show's eight-year run. In the years since, the actress has appeared in cult classic films including Scream, Jawbreaker and Grindhouse.
McGowan was in a high-profile relationship with musician Marilyn Manson for over three years, including an engagement that lasted two years, before the couple broke up over personal differences. In 2007, McGowan began dating director Robert Rodriguez and the couple was engaged to marry before, once again, calling off the engagement in 2009.
