BIO

Born April 10, 1987, actress Shay Mitchell became a breakout star in June 2010 when Pretty Little Liars debuted on ABC Family. She appears alongside Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario and Ashley Benson on the hit teen drama.

The daughter of a Filipino mother and Irish/Scottish father, Mitchell was a successful teen model who worked in exotic locales such as Hong Kong and Barcelona before breaking into the acting biz.

In 2009, she appeared on one episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation. The following year, she made an appearance on Rookie Blue before scoring a recurring role on the Disney XD series Aaron Stone.

Thanks to her role on Pretty Little Liars, Mitchell inked her first beauty campaign with Pantene in January 2011.
