Despite Internet chatter, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt never made it to Sunday's Academy Awards. So where were they?
Overseas in Venice.
On Sunday, Jolie, 34, took daughter Shiloh, 3 1/2, to a children's party -- along with proud pop Pitt, 46, Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, and Zahara, 5. (The Jolie-Pitt family is in Venice as Jolie films The Tourist with Johnny Depp.)

But child psychologist Lawrence Batler tells UsMagazine.com Shi's style-- which includes $140 boys' jeans -- is normal. "Kids try on roles," he tells Us. "How she dresses reflects what interests her now."

Oh, please. It's not unusual for little girls this age to have short hair. Maybe she is more of a tom-boy and wanted it short. Maybe she fights having her hair brushed and mom got tired of the fight. Maybe she took the scissors to it herself and they had to take her and get it cleaned up into something presentable. What is the big deal?

My Dad insisted that my sister and I have short hair (exactly like Shiloh) when we were younger and it didn't turn us into boys! It's just a haircut!

My daughter wanted Spiderman shoes for her 3rd bday. Although I didn't want her to have them, I told her aunt that was fine to get them. She STILL loves her shoes more than any gift after 3 months. She still likes piggy tails and barbie dolls. You people are idiots with deeper issues other than disagreeing with the Jolie-Pitt haircuts and a missing tooth. Get a life that makes you happier so you don't hate so dam- much.

Who cares if they let her cut her hair and dress like a boy.....she is young and it doesn't mean anything! And even if it does, so what...she and her sibling will have way bigger issues to deal with with those two for parents!
My son tripped and fell on the playground when he was 3 knocking out his front tooth. We took him to an emergency dentist who was unable to replace the tooth. Since it is a "baby tooth" they will not do an implant etc. You just have to deal with it the way it is until the "adult tooth" comes in. It's wasn't a big deal for our family. I'm sure the Jolie-Pitts are ok with it too. People need to back off! They are KIDS! Stuff happens!
