Jerry Ferrara

Born November 25, 1979, Jerry Ferrara grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He studied theater in college and was inspired by one of his instructors to pursue acting. He later moved to Los Angeles and worked at Boston Market to make ends meet.

Ferrara soon scored guest spots on King of Queens and NYPD Blue. These were all short-lived roles, but late in 2004, the actor landed the role that launched him to stardom: Turtle, Vinny’s best friend since childhood, on the HBO hit Entourage.

It was on the set of Entourage that Ferrara met actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler. She played Ferrara’s love interest, and in a story of art imitating life, the two forged an offscreen relationship. They split in December 2009.
