Sarah Hyland
Best known for her role as Haley Dunphy in ABC’s Modern Family, actress Sarah Hyland was born on November 24, 1990, in New York City.
As a young girl, Hyland made her feature film debut as Howard Stern‘s daughter in the 1997 movie Private Parts. The following year, she starred alongside Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd in the rom-com The Object of My Affection.
Hyland then starred in a series of TV movies, including Annie and The Audrey Hepburn Story. In 2006, she made her Broadway debut in Grey Gardens: The Musical, playing a 12-year-old Jacqueline Bouvier.
The actress, whose other TV credits include One Life to Live and Lipstick Jungle, was cast in Modern Family in 2009. Hyland’s other notable works include Geek Charming (opposite real-life boyfriend Matt Prokop) and Struck by Lightning (written by Glee‘s Chris Colfer). She is also the host of Love Island USA.
In April 2012, Hyland received a life-saving kidney transplant from her father.
The Wedding Year star began dating Wells Adams in 2017. After getting engaged nearly two years later, the pair wed in August 2022 after postponing their plans multiple times amid the coronavirus pandemic.
