  I think this is a loose translation of "picks out" ... Katie (+ stylist, no doubt) probably puts something on and then asks "What do you think?" This somehow gets turned into "Suri/Tom pick out my clothes." (PS: Us Editorial Staff - It's Holmes-Cruise household.)
