Theresa Caputo

Theresa Caputo is a psychic and New York Times bestselling author best known for hosting the TLC series Long Island Medium. Caputo spent her childhood in Long Island, New York, with her parents and brother Michael. Caputo first signed on to TLC in 2011, and she remained the host of Long Island Medium until the show’s end in 2019.

Caputo’s psychic abilities are her claim to fame. What started out as a word-of-mouth business where she provided readings to a handful of customers soon became an overnight sensation. Since the creation of her reality TV series, Caputo has also published multiple New York Times bestsellers about her mediumship, including 2013’s There’s More to Life Than This and 2017’s Good Grief. She has hosted multiple national tours entitled Theresa Caputo Live: The Experience.

In 2024, Caputo made her return to reality TV, starring in Lifetime’s Theresa Caputo: Raising Spirits. In collaboration with Carolyn Rafaelian, she also announced a jewelry line called “Divinely Guided”, set to release in 2025.

In 1989, Captuo married Larry Caputo, and the couple share two children: Larry Jr., born in 1990, and Victoria, born in 1994. The pair confirmed their split in 2018.
