His ladies! Nick Cannon has lots of love for his large family, but what do all of his partners have to say about his unique approach to parenting? Cannon and Mariah Carey were married from 2008 to 2014 and the pair share fraternal twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, who were born in 2011. The twosome, who initially split in 2014, settled their divorce in 2016 and have been coparenting amicably ever since. “It’s all about love,” the comedian said during an interview with Amazon’s Style Code Live in February 2017. “You put the kids first, but then when you understand that you have unconditional love for these human beings and you want the best existence for them, then you put whatever differences you may have had aside.” In September 2022, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the “Obsessed” singer doesn’t concern herself with her former partner’s growing brood. “Mariah doesn’t keep up with Nick’s babies and baby mamas,” the insider told Us at the time. “There’s too many to keep up with! She’s happy for him and wishes him the best.” After his split from the “Fantasy” songstress, Cannon welcomed son Golden and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell in February 2017 and December 2020, respectively. Two years later, they expanded their family with son Rise Messiah, who was born in September 2022. In June 2021, the Drumline actor became a father to a second set of twins, Zillion and Zion, with Abby De La Rosa, who later gave birth to their daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin, in November 2022. Cannon welcomed son Legendary Love in June 2022 with Bre Tiesi and Onyx Ice Cole in September 2022 with LaNisha Cole. The former rapper also welcomed son Zen with Alyssa Scott in June 2021. The little one tragically died five months later after being diagnosed with brain cancer. In November 2022, Cannon and Scott revealed they were expecting another bundle of joy. "This is a MIRACLE & a BLESSING," the model captioned the now deleted post announcing the news that the twosome were expecting another child. We love u!” With The Masked Singer host’s expanding brood, Cannon explained that he tries his best to be active in all of his little ones’ lives. “Contrary to popular belief, I’m probably engaged throughout my children’s day, more often than the average adult can be,” he told Men’s Health in June 2022. “If I’m not physically in the same city with my kids, I’m talking to them before they go to school via FaceTime and stuff. And then when I am [in the same city, I’m] driving my kids to school, like, making sure I pick ’em up.” Despite many of Cannon’s partners being vocal about his attentive parenting skills, not all of his companions feel like they get the same treatment. In December 2022, Cole seemingly shaded her daughter's father after fans questioned why she and her little one weren't being featured on social media like some of his other children were. “It’s not easy but I have to do it for my daughter. Mariah Carey

The “We Belong Together” songstress opened up to Vulture in August 2020 about how her coparenting relationship with Cannon following their split.

“Co-parenting. Yeah, it ain’t easy, baby. It ain’t easy,” she said at the time. “But you know what? It’s important. We keep it good for them [her children].” 

In November 2021, Carey was asked if the twins would spend the holidays with their “step-brothers or step-sisters" in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “Is it step? I don’t think it’s step. If you’re not married to the person," the singer questioned while laughing. “I don’t know about that. That’s a different interview for you.”

Abby De La Rosa

The DJ opened up about her and the former America’s Got Talent host’s polyamorous relationship status and their children during a September 2022 episode of the “Lovers and Friends” podcast.

“Me being open in my relationship does not change or take away from the type of mother that I am to my kids and the wholeness that I am to them and the strength that I share with them,” she revealed at the time.

Cannon has praised the yoga instructor as his “rock and foundation” during his fatherhood journey. In November 2022, Bell opened up about how her son with the comedian came at the right time in her life.

“Challenges will come and forever I will grow. I’m learning so much from My Rise and discovering a newness that I can’t wait to show,” she wrote via Instagram at the time.

Bre Tiesi

The Selling Sunset personality gushed to Us in April 2022 about how “great” the former Nickelodeon star is with all his children.

“I hear him on the phone [with his kids]. I hear stories. I hear stuff about the kids, and I know him very well,” she told Us at the time. “[I’ve been able] to watch him parent and [see] his patience and … his insight and how he explains things. He is just a very nurturing, loving human. Very constructive.”

Tiesi also explained to Us that she has “love and respect” for the rest of Cannon’s kids’ moms.

“Our kids are siblings,” she said. “However they decide to go moving forward with their dad, that’s their time and their intimate stuff. We’re just here to support and drop off or pick up or whatever they need. But [it’s] all love. We all are worried about our situation and our children and [doing] the best we can do. If anyone needs something, my door is always open.”

After Cole seemingly shaded Cannon by calling out his “fake IG photo ops” in December 2022, the Netflix star took to social media to defend her child’s father. “Nick always shows up!” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “Always [a] present, happy, consistent, loving parent and an even better person! We love u!”

Tiesi defended Cannon once again in February 2023 after sharing a glimpse of how they celebrated Valentine's Day. When an Instagram user assumed that Cannon sent Tiesi's gifts late, she fired back: "Ain't nobody miss s--t. We celebrated each other over 2 days 😂 u want so badly to make him a bad dad and partner y'all pathetic."

LaNisha Cole

The former Price is Right model seemingly threw shade at the Brooklyn 99 alum in December 2022  for the “fake IG photo ops” with his other children and their mothers after she and her daughter were not featured on his social media.

“It’s not easy but I have to do it for my daughter. She is incredibly blessed and is surrounded by so much love – and it’s not fake IG photo op love – it’s real day in and day out love,” she wrote at the time.

A few days later, Cole praised Cannon’s parenting approach. “Coparenting is a breeze when you see eye-to-eye, It’s all about this little one, our Onyx,” she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time. “Fun fact: Nick was playing ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ by Stevie Wonder in the [delivery] room to welcome Onyx into this world. My heart smiles every time I hear this song plays. It will forever be special.”

News broke that Cannon and Tiesi were expecting a child one month after the model and the TV show host tragically lost their son Zen. 

"It is painful having my son be a part of conversations that aren't in alignment with his light and legacy. It isn't something I chose for him or myself. It's important for me to let you all know I am centered; I am at peace. I look at everyone's predicament with loving eyes. I will not judge," she wrote.
