BIO

Born in Sudbury, Massachusetts on June 13, 1981, actor Chris Evans first gained mainstream attention with the 20001 comedy Not Another Teen Movie. The actor soon scored several more leading roles, including parts in The Perfect Score and Cellular.

Evans' career began to heat up when he was cast as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four (opposite Jessica Alba and Michael Chiklis). He returned for a sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, in 2007.

Friends introduced Evans to actress Jessica Biel in 2001. The two dated for several years -- and costarred in two films, Cellular and London -- before calling it quits in June 2006.

Evans' other film credits include Push, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond, Street Kings, TMNT and Captain America: The First Avenger.
