Minnesota native Chris Pratt was born on June 21, 1979.
Known for his roles in The WB's Everwood and NBC's Parks and Recreation, the actor was discovered by actor/director Rae Dawn Chong while he was working at restaurant in Maui, Hawaii; she cast him in her debut feature, Cursed 3.
Pratt previously dated Emily VanCamp, his costar in Everwood. He met Anna Faris on the 2007 set of Take Me Home Tonight; they married two years later in Bali. The spouses welcomed a son, Jack, in August 2012.
The actor's other notable film and TV credits include Moneyball, What's Your Number?, Bride Wars and The Five-Year Engagement.
