About

After working with the Groundlings improv comedy troupe in Los Angeles, Jimmy Fallon joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 1998. He quickly gained notoriety for his impressions and for cohosting “Weekend Update” with Tina Fey. Fallon left the show in 2004 to pursue a film career, going on to star in Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005) before being announced as Conan O’Brien’s successor on NBC’s Late Night talk show.

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon aired from 2009 to 2013. Fallon began hosting The Tonight Show in 2014, succeeding Jay Leno. His late-night series incorporates music, games, dancing and more.

Fallon has hosted various awards shows, including the 62nd annual Emmy Awards and 74th annual Golden Globe Awards. He produced Lip Sync Battle, a musical reality show based on a segment from his talk show, from 2015 to 2019. The late-night host has four Emmys and won a Grammy Award for his 2013 comedy album.

After meeting on the set of SNL, Fallon married Nancy Juvonen, Drew Barrymore’s producing partner, in 2007. The couple welcomed their daughters via surrogate in 2014 and 2015.
