Leighton Meester, a native Floridian, began her acting career with a role in a local production of the "Wizard of Oz." Meester moved with her family to New York at age 11, when she began working as a model for clothing companies including Ralph Lauren.

Although Meester has made a name for herself as Blair Waldorf in the current TV series Gossip Girl, she has also been featured on hit shows such as Entourage, House M.D. and 24. Meester made her film debut with Hangman's Curse and appeared in 2008’s Killer Movie.

Up next for New York's favorite Queen Bee? The release of her own album, backed by Universal Republic Records. The actress tells Us: "It's a good mixture of hip-hop sounding, very vibe-y music."
