A Long Beach, Calif., native, Cameron Diaz was born on August 30, 1972. The model-turned-actress achieved fame in her breakout role in 1994's The Mask. This role set the precedent for Diaz's career: her goofy, carefree style and striking good looks create winning performances.

The star's vulgar "hair-gel" scene in There's Something About Mary is considered to be among the greatest film moments of the '90s. The blonde bombshell has also delved into more serious topics, starring in films such as Oscar-contender Gangs of New York. Diaz is a sought after bachelorette; her romantic history includes a brief engagement to Jared Leto and a relationship with pop star Justin Timberlake from 2003-2007.
