The Change-Up star, 27, wore a long striped dress with brown boots by Joie in Los Angeles on August 18. The Oscar-winning actress, 35, paired her nautical-inspired top and navy skirt with a Givenchy purse and Jimmy Choo shades during a coffee run on August 23. And the supermodel mom, 28, was spotted in Sydney on August 31 in a Bassike top and Nobody Cult jeans.

Despite a long-held belief that the pattern makes you appear wide, "horizontal stripes can actually be slimming if the piece is fitted," says designer Louise Roe. Just proceed with caution: "The style can be tricky," warns LaLa Anthony. "Take a good look in the mirror. If it doesn't look right, don't do it!"
