Biography:

Although California native Rebecca Romijn is now famous for her role as Alexis Meade in Ugly Betty, she initially got her start in the industry by modeling. She dropped out of UCLA, where she was majoring in music, to join a modeling agency and move to Paris.

After years as a successful model, Romijn met and married John Stamos from 1998 until their divorce in 2005. Romijn’s big break came when she starred as Mystique in the X-Men movies. She has been married to actor Jerry O’Connell since July 2007. The couple welcomed twin daughters, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, in December 2008.
