BIO

Born January 13, 1990, Liam Hemsworth is known as much for his acting career as he is for his on-off relationship with Miley Cyrus.

The Australian star attended his first audition at the age of 16 and began his career in 2007 with guest spots on Home and Away and McLeod's Daughters. He soon followed in his brother Luke's footsteps when he was cast in Neighbours.

Though he lost the part of Thor to his older brother Chris, Hemsworth was later cast as Cyrus' love interest in The Last Song. The costars soon began dating, and though they would later split, they rekindled the flame in mid-2011. The couple announced their engagement in June 2012.

Hemsworth stars in The Hunger Games franchise as Gale Hawthorne (opposite Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson).
