BIO

Born in Canterbury, England on January 13, 1977, Orlando Bloom became an overnight sensation after playing Legalos in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He proceeded to star in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy opposite Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp. His other films include Troy, Elizabethtown and Black Hawk Down.

Bloom resides in London and is a practicing Buddhist.

He dated Kate Bosworth on and off starting in 2002 before they split for good in 2006. Bloom has been dating Australian model Miranda Kerr since late 2007. In June 2010, Bloom's rep confirmed that the couple were engaged. A month later, the actor's rep confirmed they had secretly wed. The couple announced their pregnancy in July 2010.

Kerr and Bloom's son was born in January 2011.
