NEW PIC: Brad Pitt Shaves Off His Entire Beard!

Brad Pitt's foray into facial fuzziness is finally over -- for now!
On Monday, the 46-year-old actor showed up completely clean-shaven for his first day of work on the L.A. set of his flick Moneyball. (It's also his twins Vivienne and Knox's second birthday)

Pitt has been sporting a shaggy beard since last fall, although he was spotted with a closer-cropped beard and mustache a month ago.

Why did the father of six and love of Angelina Jolie get so shaggy? "It's boredom," he said recently. "No other reason than that." See more pics of Brad without his beard.

His love Jolie claimed to Vanity Fair that she didn't mind the scruff. "I love Brad in every state," she said.

Jolie/Pitt and their brood use enough resources to go through a few square acres of the rain forest each month. Jolie lives a life of such overweeing indulgence few can comprehend just what it takes to keep her and hers in the style they are used to.

When a woman gets bored with her appearance, she changes her hair style or hair color-you hear it all the time. Guys can experiment with the little bit of hair they have style control over too. WTF is the big deal. Its like you think you found some huge problem in his relationship because of it. GET A GRIP! I can sleep tonight knowing Brad shaved. Thank you so much US... The world is a better place now that Brad Pitt shaved off his beard, now if he would just take those kids and get them away from the mental case that he is with we would all breath a bit better.

The point of a beard is not to look good for the ladies (why does EVERYTHING a Male does have to be for the ladies?). Beards were never was about the ladies. Males wear beards get more respect from other males (I had to grow one to learn this). When I wore my beard.... I had males calling me "sir!" wherever I went.. and police officers saying "how are YOU today sir?". After I cut it off.. I went back to being just a babyfaced boy. No more "how are YOU today, sir" from coppers. Beards increase your charisma with other males (assuming its not scraggly).
