There were many stars who took sartorial risks with their outfits in 2011, but only one weird and wacky ensemble can take home the end-of-year turkey for biggest style misstep.
At the MET Gala in NYC May 2, we saw what would be some of the best dresses of the entire year (Gisele Bundchen in Alexander McQueen for example). But going against the grain, Naomi Campbell suited up in an ill-fitting white confection with ornate fringe detail and a prom queen hairstyle to boot. Us Weekly readers voted the former supermodel as the worst-dressed star of the night.
Second up is Jessica Szohr, who nabbed the most votes for wackiest outfit at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, Calif. June 5). The Gossip Girl star chose a paisley jumpsuit that looked more like an adult onesie made out of old-fashioned wallpaper.
And then there is Christina Aguilera, who, despite making her return to fame as a coach on The Voice, could use some help in the wardrobe department. Not only did the singer go through a pantless phase, but she shocked viewers when she took the stage in a skin-tight, cleavage-baring silver mini at the 2011 American Music Awards in Los Angeles November 20.
