@whiteM_loves_AsianF: "Why do a movie about the runaways"? Because the story itself is interesting enough regardless of whether or not you know who the Runaways were. And if you're only interested in a "movie about joan jett herself", this is how she got her start in the music business.

why do a movie about the runaways... a band that none of us born after 1980 has ever heard of? A band that has been totally forgotten by history? I'd rather see a movie about joan jett herself.
