Jenna Cartusciello

Affiliate Commerce Writer Jenna loves recommending great products to her friends and family, so helping the rest of the internet on their quest to find the best stuff makes tremendous sense! Though she mainly writes in-depth buyer’s guides these days, Jenna still enjoys crafting the occasional health article. In her spare time, she loves immersing herself in creative writing. Her favorite authors (for anyone who is willing to geek out with her) include Neil Gaiman, Cheryl Strayed, and Jennifer Egan.

Work or writing background leading to expertise

Though Jenna’s main focus on the digital editorial team for Woman’s World and First for Women was health and wellness, she loved dabbling in the commerce space. Her favorite product guides she authored (before becoming an affiliate commerce writer) include a review of custom orthotics and a review of self-watering indoor gardens.

Jenna received her BA from Kenyon College in Classics — the study of language, literature, philosophy, and culture of Ancient Greece and Rome. She strongly encourages every young writer to try a Classics course or two!

Work history

Jenna began her career as a ghost writer for various digital publications (long-form guides on finance and government assistance programs), then moved into freelancing. She quickly got a taste of all kinds of content, including marketing copy, short-form breaking news, health, beauty, travel, recipes, and celebrity obituaries. You can find her work on The Things, The List, Health Digest, Mashed, First for Women, and Woman’s World.
