“I did do an interview with [producer and casting director] Deena Katz with Dancing With the Stars. I did interview with her a couple of months ago,” Peg, 63, revealed on the Thursday, July 9, episode of the “She’s All Bach” podcast. “I believe they’ve already cast for this season but we had an email and I just checked in with her, and I sent her a little clip of me dancing, and she was very, pleasantly surprised with the clip, and said she will definitely consider me for sure for next season.”

She added, “I’m an ex-dancer and that’s really the only thing about this whole experience that I would really love to do. Because I dance for my soul. I dance with my heart. I think I would give all those young’uns a run for their money, man. Go boomers!”

Later in her podcast interview, Munson — who accepted a promise ring from Mel Owens in the Golden Bachelor season 2 finale — addressed the timeline of being approached for DWTS.

“Right, something like that,” Peg agreed. “I would love to do that.”

Peg reiterated that any talks about Dancing With the Stars would be for season 36 in 2027 “unless somebody breaks a leg, or something, and they have a spot.”

Is ‘Obsession’ Worth Watching?

Hell, yes. There’s a good reason the film made so much money – it sparked a nationwide discussion about toxic relationships and how idolizing our partners almost always has negative consequences. It’s also just an incredibly well-made movie, with 26-year-old director Curry Barker deservedly getting his blood-splattered flowers for making a horror film that has both something to say and scares the hell out of anyone who watches it.

Production on the fifth season of Mormon Wives was suspended in March when Taylor and her ex Dakota Mortensen were involved in a domestic violence investigation. Both publicly denied the allegations of domestic violence made by the other. (Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette was pulled from ABC’s schedule due to the criminal investigation.)

Prosecutors ultimately declined to file criminal charges against either party, though Dakota was awarded temporary custody of their son, Ever, 2. Taylor was later granted supervised visits with Ever for eight hours per week.

A Utah judge issued mutual protective orders for both Dakota and Taylor in April, ordering them to stay 100 feet away from each other for three years.

Earlier this month, Us confirmed that Taylor voluntarily spent time in rehab for a short stay that has since concluded. Her ex-husband, Tate Paul, subsequently filed for an emergency change in their custody agreement for daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6, claiming that he was not told Taylor was entering rehab. (Tate’s request was denied.)

A court accepted Taylor’s offer to take a sobriety test, specifying that she could resume unsupervised visits with her two older children provided she passes. In a separate hearing, a judge ruled on Wednesday, July 8, that Taylor can have more unsupervised time with her and Dakota’s son, Ever.

“I still support Taylor,” Jessi said in an Instagram video on Wednesday. “She knows that. I talk to her every single day. Still friends with her. Still love her. I also still have some friendships in MomTok and we also film a show together and work together and we have to be together and we have to make videos together, it’s part of our job. But also, it’s a good thing that the group is able to get along and make videos right now.”

Meanwhile, Mormon Wives producer Jeff Jenkins expressed hopes in May that Taylor would be back filming new scenes for the show before long. (A source previously told Us Taylor wanted to return to the reality show “at some point” but was “focused on her mental health.”)

“[Taylor is] just made for this,” Jenkins, 58, told Variety in May. “To share her life on camera, she does it like breathing air. She doesn’t edit herself. She’s really built for this type of lane. So I’m very hopeful that she’ll be back very soon, and I’m hopeful we can do all sorts of other projects with her as well.”

‘65’ (2023)

“65” stands for 65 million years ago, when a space pilot, Mills (Adam Driver), loses control of his ship and crashes on an alien planet that will eventually be named Earth. Mills isn’t alone, though – the only other survivor is a young girl, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), who communicates in a strange language Mills doesn’t quite understand. But that’s a small problem compared to a bigger one they both face – they’re stuck on a foreign planet with almost no supplies and no clear way back home. Even worse, this planet has its own native species lurking about – dinosaurs!

65 is a strange cross between Alien and Jurassic Park, only with a lesser budget and a small cast. The result is a B-level movie that’s surprisingly effective. You really do feel like Mills is stuck in the prehistoric past, which is filled with danger pretty much anywhere he goes. As a proto-Joel from The Last of Us, Driver excels as a surrogate father to Greenblatt’s mostly silent Koa, who is more resourceful than she looks.

‘Capote’ (2005)

In 1959, the Clutter family was brutally murdered by Perry Smith (Clifton Collins Jr.) and Dick Hickock (Mark Pellegrino). The case rocked the nation and, in particular, author Truman Capote (Philip Seymour Hoffman). In search of his next book, he decides to document the crime and upcoming trial in detail by traveling to Kansas himself. But as he grows closer to them, particularly Smith, he realizes he’s committed the ultimate sin of a journalist – he becomes too involved in the story he’s reporting on. As the trial drags on with no end in sight, can Capote find a way to finish his book without a concrete conclusion?

After Josh Heuston had a scene-stealing role as Justin in season 1, news broke that he wouldn’t return — for now.

“[He is] not [in] next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point,” creator Louisa Levy told TV Guide at the time. “We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we’ll find a way to fold him into a future season.”

Levy noted that it wasn’t always the plan for Justin to be absent. “We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never,” she added.

Story Line Shakeups

With Justin gone, Levy hinted that season 2 is going to look a little different.

“There’s going to be less live songs. Because we don’t have all of Hannah’s songwriting journey to play into,” she said during Obsessed Fest in June 2026. “We don’t have Josh and After Hours this season so we don’t have those bands. But we still have a lot of music in other ways. We will still have some light music in the show.”

Lead Changes

With Dean taking over instead of Logan, all bets are off when it comes to future orders — and even possible character changes as new cast members are brought on.

“We haven’t picked up cameras, despite being in the Hamptons last weekend,” Kyle, 43, confirmed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on Wednesday, July 8. “I said it in a post, and I kind of said it accidentally and it set off a bit of an avalanche; I said it was the end of an era.”

He added, “I think for people that use that term, I think they probably would’ve preferred I say ‘chapter.’ But to me it feels like the end of 10 chapters. I call it an era, but I think what’s exciting is that season 11 has the potential to have a completely different look and feel.”

Summer House reached an all-time high during its milestone 10th season, which wrapped up last month, when Kyle’s estranged wife Amanda Batula and costar West Wilson announced that they were dating. The romance news came months after Kyle and Amanda, 34, announced their plans to separate after four years of marriage.

Fans were outraged at the budding romance, especially since West, 31, previously dated Amanda’s best friend Ciara Miller. The season 10 reunion focused mainly on Summer House cast members attempting to get to the bottom of Amanda and West’s timeline. Us Weekly has confirmed that both Amanda and West will not be returning for Summer House season 11.

“I feel like a lot of shows that reach a pinnacle, sometimes it’s a little unclear where to go from there,” Kyle continued on Wednesday. “The beauty of Summer House is, you [can] throw whatever cast is on season 11 into a house in the Hamptons, and you kind of let it do its thing.”

He continued, “I think [Summer House is] going to have, like I said, the potential for a whole new chapter, a whole new look and feel and can avoid getting stuck in certain storylines.”

Fans were convinced that Kyle announced his Summer House departure last month with a cryptic Instagram post.

“End of an era,” he captioned the original post. “I can’t tell how hard it was to muster up a smile in this photo with my producers. Per usual I was the last to leave the house when we wrapped because I lug so much gear out. But this year was different. 10 seasons in the books. A new show [In the City] on the way. And a heartbreaking way to end one helluva run.”

Kyle wrote that he was “tearing up” when writing the caption, telling followers that “we can finally close this chapter.” The Bravo star later edited his caption, clarifying that the post wasn’t an announcement about his departure.

They’re all 80 or above, but they’re young at heart, so when they win a contest to attend the Super Bowl featuring their favorite player, they set out on an adventure of their lifetimes. That’s what they get and more, as the quartet gets into all sorts of trouble, including getting high after consuming some edibles, meeting Guy Fieri during a chicken wing-eating contest and masquerading as Lady Gaga’s backup dancers. (Don’t ask.)

80 for Brady is sweet and silly, exactly what you’d expect from a movie called 80 for Brady and starring Lily Tomlin. It’s a cross-generational comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously, even when it tackles subjects like cancer and even death. (These ladies aren’t spring chickens.) What makes the movie so watchable is the four leading ladies, who all bring their unique personas to their roles. And yes, Brady does make an appearance, and he shows good humor at poking fun at his football hero image.

‘She Said’ (2022)

When New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor (Zoe Kazan) receives a tip about an explosive story about sexual allegations concerning movie producer Harvey Weinstein, she recruits fellow reporter Megan Twohey (Carey Mulligan) to help gather enough evidence to publish an exposé. That’s easier said than done, as getting anyone, from scared former assistants to established celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashley Judd, to go on record proves to be nearly impossible. Kantor and Twohey have a hard deadline to publish their story, so they’ll need someone to risk their reputation and publicly condemn Weinstein, or else the story will die without anyone knowing the shocking truth.

The ‘70s had their journalistic exposé with All the President’s Men, so it’s only fitting that the #MeToo era gets one in She Said. While not nearly as compelling as that Dustin Hoffman/Robert Redford classic, the film methodically recreates the slow and often frustrating work Kantor and Twohey put in to write and publish a story that effectively changed culture. She Said avoids sensationalizing its subject matter, and the result is a slow-moving film that’s also quietly thrilling.

“I felt like I was in a different alternate universe because that was my life. Now even for Rose Day — that Jason [Oppenheim] and I go to every year together — had the tickets and I wasn’t allowed to go,” Mary, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly while discussing her current work with animal advocacy.

The reality star recalled being told the news.

“They said, ‘No, Mary can’t come because they were going to film part of it.’ They don’t want anybody from the [past] cast overpower or overshadow the new cast,” Mary claimed. “They don’t want people taking the attention away from their story lines.”

She continued: “I was like, ‘You’re keeping me from my friends? You can’t keep me away from there.’ They sure did. So that part I was very frustrated about and I’m sad about that. I have to be separated from my friends.”

“It’s just very strange to not know what’s going on and not be allowed to go to the office to work because they’re filming. … They will not allow us in the office,” she noted. “It’s my office and it is bizarre, but it’s OK because I need to work from home anyway.”

While adapting to the new normal, Mary went through “a bit of a grieving process,” adding, “I’ll watch [season 10] but for right now I don’t want to have any involvement in all of that. It was an amazing run and I’m so grateful for it. But I’m needed in other places right now — and in other ways — between the market and the show and how everything changed. I have this time so I’m using it for something good.”

Mary has been a cast member on the show since it premiered in 2019. After nine seasons, Us confirmed that Mary, Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani and more would not be returning to the show.

For now, Mary is focused on fostering dogs and spreading awareness about adoption.

“There’s many, many ways that people can help either by fostering, adopting or with donations to the rescues. Because shelters are not allocating the funds to the dogs. There’s a huge crisis,” she claimed. “But what people can do if you don’t have any of those available is go to volunteer at a shelter — even if it’s just to go and take photos or videos of the animals and post them.”

Mary’s concerns about kill shelters led to her ongoing rescue journey, saying, “There’s a big misconception that shelter dogs are damaged. They are the most appreciative and loving animals. Even if it is just to foster for two weeks. They are so appreciative and so loving and they just want kindness and love.”

She concluded: “We need people’s help. Whatever people can do to need help — even if it’s just raising awareness themselves or reposting a dog if you see one that’s still available. You don’t know who will see it.”

“We haven’t heard [about there being] five [seasons]. I think we’re taking it one season at a time,” lead Kelly Reilly told The Hollywood Reporter in July about the spinoff’s future, before her costar Cole Hauser noted, “This has been a beast. We haven’t had any time to even think about it either. We literally filmed [until] the end of March and we’ve been on the road selling the show.”

Reilly hinted there might be a story line in place — at least for season 2.

‘Run Lola Run’ (1998)

On paper, Run Lola Run’s plot is pretty straightforward, but it’s the execution that makes Run Lola Run stand out – and what makes it so fresh and modern a quarter-century after its first release. Director Tom Tykwer tells Lola’s story three times, utilizing a Choose Your Own Adventure approach that details how his main protagonist’s story changes if she makes different decisions, like if she decides to scream at a cyclist she runs into while running, or if fate intervenes, which either dooms or saves her. Run Lola Run is a fun, playful film; if there’s not much beneath the surface, well, then just enjoy the surface – especially the earwormy techno soundtrack.

As season 28 kicked off on Thursday, July 9, Levi was nowhere to be seen during the premiere — despite previously appearing on a leaked cast list. He also was not included on the CBS’ official list of 14 new houseguests released earlier this week.

Although he will no longer be in the middle of the action in the Big Brother house, Levi said he would still be following the season as a fan.

‘Big Brother’ Alumni Speak Out After Rachel’s Controversial Elimination

Yash Patel was the replacement player (or “alternate”) for Levi after he dropped out.

In the initial announcement, 14 new players were introduced. Amongst the new faces are an MMA fighter, a game show host, a drag queen who previously appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race and more. Teddy Swims is pouring his emotions into his art.

The two-time Grammy nominee, 33, released his powerful new single, “Break Up in Reverse,” on Friday, July 10, after revealing his split from his girlfriend, Raiche Wright.

The lyrics find Swims wishing to undo a failed relationship. “Every night would get better instead of getting worse / I’d watch you slowly slip back into my hands,” he sings during the song’s chorus. “Say goodbye to me in the beginning / And love me in the end.”

The “Lose Control” singer even references Wright’s home state, crooning in the track’s second verse, “You’d be on your way back from Massachusetts / Bet it breaks the hearts of stars when we use ’em as excuses.”

Swims confirmed on Friday that “Break Up in Reverse,” which follows the April release of “Mr. Know It All,” is autobiographical.

“‘Break Up in Reverse’ really hits home for me right now and where I am in my life. Upon writing this song and my next album, I’ve been going through it with my relationship with my baby’s mother coming to an end,” he said in a statement, referencing Wright, with whom he shares a 12-month-old son.

“Two months ago I interviewed Mickey Lee on ‘God 101’ That’s when she revealed to me that she was born with a hole in her heart, and as an adult she survived an ATV accident that should have killed her, but God kept her alive,” Julie, 56, wrote via Instagram. “Last night God brought her home 🕊️ Rest In Peace dear Mickey. I will see you again on the other side in eternity.”

A week after Mickey’s death, fellow Big Brother alum Rachel Reilly reflected on their relationship on the show.

“I think I didn’t even give myself a chance to cry yet and looking back on 2025 and seeing posts of Mickey really has me thinking about how she had such a big impact on so many lives!” Rachel, 41, wrote on New Year’s Eve. “I’ve been watching her stories and she was such an incredible woman — she’s touched so many lives and her fabric is woven throughout so many stories- she made an impact in my journey and I’ll always love her for it and never forget that about her.”
