Olivia Palermo is a socialite and cast member on the MTV reality show The City. Palermo, the daughter of real estate developer Douglas Palermo, grew up in New York City on the Upper East Side and attended college in Paris before graduating from the New School in New York. Palermo was on the cover of New York Magazine in May 2007 after she was falsely accused of sending of letters to socialites pleading to be accepted to high profile charity events.

On the first season of The City, Palermo worked alongside costar Whitney Port for fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg. Throughout the second season, she works at Elle Magazine where she has frequent spats with her coworker Erin Kaplan and often drops the ball on assignments.

Palermo previously dated Brad Leinhardt, founder of the fashion line Izzy Gold, and is currently dating model Johannes Huebl. In August 2010 the couple cozied up together in a fall ad campaign for Hogan. She also revealed she'll be starting her own clothing line.
