Fanning was just named the new face of Marc by Marc Jacobs, modeling in a campaign for the label's Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection.

The Super 8 star is no fashion amateur -- her style icons are Marilyn Monroe and Alexa Chung, not to mention Fanning is already a Marc Jacobs fan. She's worn the label to the 2011 Women in Film Crystal and Lucy Awards and the 2011 Young Hollywood Awards.

She follows in the footsteps of her 17-year-old sister Dakota Fanning, who has been modeling for Marc Jacobs since she was 13 and is currently the face of his new Oh Lola fragrance.
